Before I Fall is the story of Samantha (Sam) Kingston, a high school senior and one of the most popular girls at Thomas Jefferson High.  Sam has it all – gorgeous boyfriend, great friends and the envy of all the girls in the school.Sam and her friends are not the nicest people in the world though.  In fact they can be really cruel to anyone that’s not part of their precious little cliche.  The story opens on February 12th, Cupid‘s Day, it’s the day when people get to show off how “popular” they are and make fun of people anyone who aren’t.  Nothing in the world matters but getting the most flowers so you can show the world that everyone loves you and this year Sam plans on being the winner.Sam and her friends end up getting invited to a party and when they arrive all eyes are of them.  After Sam and her friends get into a horrible accident while leaving the party Sam finds herself literary reliving that day after day.The story is like Groundhog Day where Sam is forced to relive that day over and over again until she gets it right.  Very good book and it’s a realistic portrayal of what life really is like as a teenage.  It’s the story of the haves and have nots that takes you on a wonderful ride in the process.
