In City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare, the fourth book in the Mortal Instruments Series Jace has placed “space” between himself and Clary after Clary saved him from the clutches of death after he was stabbed by Valentine. This book focuses a lot of Simon and his new found self as he deals with being part of a world where demons, werewolves, and vampires exist.
Someone is hunting Simon and they’ll stop at nothing to capture him and use his “new found” talents. Again Clare shows her talent for juggling many story lines at once with each begging you for more. I went to the library hoping to snag the fifth book but it was checked out. Can’t wait and neither will you.
