I know this is early notice but this opportunity is so amazing I thought I’d give you a head start. The Young Arts fellowship program submissions will be opening sometime in April. Submissions close in October.

The Young Arts program is a mentorship program that pairs students in all areas of the arts: visual arts, performing arts, writing, cinematic arts ( music, theater, and music) with a mentor in their discipline. This is no  ordinary program. Once you win you are a Young Arts fellow for life!

A friend of mine won this in photography and so far he won $1000 plus a trip to Miami where he’ll be taking master classes with Bruce Webber. Some of the past fellows won Oscars and Grammys. Believe me this is a big deal.

I will update you later but I think it’s a good idea to start working on your portfolios now.

Check out the video and check back on the site for submissions details. Good luck!
