The snow kept on coming and it felt like it would never stop. They said that it was because we destroyed the environment and that’s why it was July and winter was still here. We stored away food and fought to keep the roof of the greenhouse clear so the crops would continue to grow….
Finish the story. What is winter never ended? Write a story about how your characters would survive in this new world.
I don’t know what side you are on when it comes to the political arena and I’m not getting into here. I know you all have opinions and I bet some of those beliefs you are very passionate about.
Write a poem about something that is worth fighting for. # protest poetry
I wasn’t popular, in fact most people didn’t really know I existed and I liked it that way because no one cared enough to try and hurt me. I use to see how kids that stuck out often got bullied. The pretty girls were hated because of their beauty and the nerds where tortured. None of it was fair. Not one little part of it all…
What happens in this story? Why does this character want to be invisible? What’s his or her story. With all this wanting to be invisible you know what has to happen next, right? This character has to stick out but how?
I remember a character in the film phenomenon who was seen as stupid one day and then the next day he was a genius because he has a brain tumor. Make something happen to this character that changes his/her life. #teen writing prompt
Wow! There is so much going on here in the United States I bet it’s stirring up a lot of feelings. As artists, these difficult times only gives us more to say. With all these protests I was wondering… what do you think is worth fighting for?
I’m not going to bring up politics here but there is something to say no matter what “side” you are on. Think about what you’d fight for. Don’t hold back. Just let your feelings flow.
Write a poem about what you believe is worth fighting for.
