Teen Writing Prompt 779

Standard

Write a poem about each person in your family. I have an older sister, an older brother who I use to fight with all the time when we were kids, a twin sister who I had to share everything with, a younger sister, and of course my parents.

My parents knew each other when they were kids. And they still know their friends from childhood. It’s weird looking at old photos of them with their friends and seeing how everyone looks now.

My Twin

My twin and I often blended into one person.

Although we were different people.

Shared birthday cakes, a shared tricycle, a shared car.

Shared space. Shared friends.

Two people blending into one.

Continue one by one writing short poems about each person. Be creative and have some fun!
