I am reading the book City of Bones by Cassandra Claire. So far, so good. I’ll wait to write the review until I finish the book but one thing I did want to mention was the idea of teen discovering things about themselves. In most stories characters know that they have special powers. Sure those powers develop when they are teens but in this story Clary discovers that she has a power.
Harry Potter was another character who discovered that he had powers. Later he discovers that he’s a witch. Write a story about someone discovering something about his or herself.
Be creative and have some fun.
